Cheryl began working at First Baptist Church of Shallotte in October of 2021. She is a native of Brunswick County and is a lifetime member of First Baptist Church. At the age of 8 years old she gave her lifeo Christ and was baptized at FBCS. During a revival service at FBCS in 1984, she rededicated her life to Christ. She has a BA in Elementary Education from the University of NC at Wilmington and a Master’s in Library Science from East Carolina University. Cheryl retired from Brunswick County Schools after 29 years. Her goal in life is to serve others and see them come to a saving knowledge of Christ.
Favorite Verse: 2 Corinthians 4:16-18, “So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day. For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen.”
