Pastor Kevin began his full-time pastoral ministry at First Baptist Church on his 26th birthday, October 3rd, 2023. Before serving in his current role, Kevin served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. Prior to his time at FBCS, he served in the college ministry and completed an internship at Northwood Baptist Church in Charleston, SC, while attending college. Kevin is married to Kacey, and they have three children: Hazel, Hattie, and Hosea.
Pastor Kevin was saved at age 16 here at FBCS during a youth rally. Kevin surrendered to the Lord’s calling of full-time pastoral ministry in 2023 while serving as the volunteer youth leader at FBCS. Pastor Kevin graduated from Charleston Southern University in 2019, majoring in Business Administration & minoring in Christian Studies. He currently attends Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, working towards a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Preaching and Pastoral Ministry.
Kevin has a passion for next-gen discipleship & helping families grow in Christ together. He enjoys spending time with his family and working on cars in his free time.
Favorite Verse: 2 Timothy 3:16-17, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.”
